Honestly I used to roll my ankle constantly on technical trails… especially downhill sections. Ever since I started wearing these on longer runs, my ankles feel way more stable and I haven’t had a bad ankle roll since. Didn’t expect such a simple brace to make this much difference tbh.
The truth is that I ordered them for my little boy, so I don't know how they will be. In any case, they are exactly as they appear in the photo, so that's good.

A few years ago I rolled my ankle pretty badly during a trail race and ended up spending almost $2,000 on scans, physio, and recovery. Even after it healed, I never really trusted my footing again on uneven trails. Picked these up a couple months ago and honestly they gave me a lot more confidence going downhill. Been trail running every weekend since and thankfully haven’t rolled my ankle again.
